Tumescent Anesthesia

Tumescent anesthesia is often referred to as, “Awake Anesthesia”. Diluted Lidocaine and Epinephrine is infused into the treated area, expanding the targeted tissue and causing the area to become numb. This localized numbing permits procedures to be performed on patients without subjecting them to the risks of general anesthesia. Being awake during the procedure has great benefits. It allows patients to stay in communication with their physician throughout the whole experience. It also allows the doctor to position the patient in such a way that they are getting the best access to the fat that is being removed from the body region being treated.

Smartlipo™ Laser Body Sculpting

SmartLipo laser-assisted lipolysis is highly effective for disrupting fat cells and tightening tissue as part of a liposuction procedure. A micro laser fiber is introduced through a small cannula, delivering energy directly to subcutaneous fat cells to disrupt them. The emitted energy also coagulates tissue, thus inducing collagen retraction and tissue tightening through tissue coagulation. The laser causes small blood vessels to coagulate immediately, causing less bleeding and swelling than with traditional liposuction. This also helps patients to have a faster healing and recovery time.

Power Assisted Liposuction

By using power-assisted liposuction technologies, our physicians are able to gently remove larger quantities of fat than what was previously possible using traditional liposuction technologies. This high powered suctioning is done using a micro cannula so that incisions are small and downtime is minimal.
